The main age group attending our nights is 16-19. No one under the age of 15 is allowed to enter a nightclub, and as such they are not permitted to purchase tickets to a Lets Go Crazy event. If you look under 16, please come with some form of identification. 

 

Alcohol 

No one under the age of 18 years may buy or drink alcohol. The majority of the club will not serve alcohol with the exception of a separated area for partygoers over the age of 18 ONLY. To enter this area, identification in the form of a driving license or passport is needed. Alcohol can only be consumed in this area and bags will be checked on returning to the other sections of the club. Alcohol will be confiscated if it is found outside the 18+ areas. 

 

Drugs 

Under no circumstance will the possession or consummation of drugs be tolerated. 

 

Safety in the club 

Each venue is carefully chosen, with one of our strict requirements an experienced team of staff who we judge to be competent in seecuring the safety of everyone in the club. At each event, there will be visible, friendly and qualified security guards of both sexes. 

 

Getting to and from the club 

If you are taking public transport to the club, the closest stations will be listed on the site for each venue and Lets Go Crazy representatives wearing branded uniforms run shuttles between the station and the club. We advise that persons under the age of 18 take a minicab home at the end of the night, or are picked up by car in the surrounding area. Minicabs outside the club will be available....

Description: HARAJUKU! returns by popular demand when Criminal Records presents the Harajuku! Autumn Ball at Proud Gallery, Camden on Tuesday 24th August. As the latest instalment of London’s most notorious Japanese themed club night, the event features seven different themed rooms, hosting celebrating every Japanese wonder from Geishas, Lolita’s, Balloons, Comics, Gaming, Origami, Karaoke, Manga, Art and a mix of Live Bands, Indie Music and JPOP. 

 

Harajuku! fashion is all about celebrating a love of Japan, being creative and mixing together different styles and influences, and has proved to be incredibly popular internationally. The fashion element is also a potent theme with the event fast becoming a key stop for a number of the freshest London designers. Party goers mix together different styles and influences and the competition for the best dressed character is fierce. Some characters dress up as idols from Anime, Movie while others focus on the looks of Gothica or Lolita. 

 

The event has already gained a reputation with gaming communities as a great place to meet, socialise and play. At the new location, Harajuku! will be an even better experience as the night will benefit from it’s own Gaming Zones. Camden gamers will be able to choose from the large variety of PS3 and Wii games to play on the large screen including Xbox Rock Band, or bring their own handheld consoles to play in their own private area. 

 

Manga aficionados will also have their own zone in one of themed ex-horse hospital stables, with screenings of Manga and Animee all night. Other themed zones include the BYODJ, featuring a bring your own MP3 player listening party, to share the best recommendations of Jpop with others and get new tips. This is not to mention the Karaoke Zone where attendees can party in true Japanese style! 

 

There’s plenty more going too, including some fantastic music from some of the hottest bands around. Featuring performances from: 

 

THE KUT, an all female dark indie rock band, who have been making waves in the UK and beyond. Being dubbed 'the next big thing' The Kut are currently in the studio recording their debut album 'Lies My Mother Told Me' for release late this year. Fast becoming a much-loved fixture on the festival circuit, Electric Elephant will return for a third bash this summer, promising cosmic, spiritual fun on the Adiriatic Sea. Electric Elephant is an escape, an adventure, a musical getaway, and a meeting of like-minded souls set within the little whitewashed fishing village of Petrcane, Croatia. 

 

Brought to you by the team behind Manchester’s legendary Electric Chair club, Electric Elephant has once again pulled together a wonderfully wild mix of the best international and UK artists, with more live artists and eye catching DJs to be announced soon. 

 

Fuck Buttons and The Phantom Band, who both featured in just about every ‘best of’ chart for 2009, are confirmed as Friday and Saturday night headliners, and they’re both utterly unmissable. 

 

Electronic music comes to the live stage via Berlin’s Soundstream, which puts Frank Timm’s never-ending love for disco and refined house music to the fore. Architeq, a 23 year-old producer of cosmic/electronic hiphop from London, will be taking us on a journey from King Tubby through to Carl Craig, while PLUGS are a London-based electro-rock three-piece with a track record for incredible live shows. 

 

Folk and acoustic sounds continue to play a vital role at Electric Elephant, and Jesca Hoop comes approved by Tom Waits and Guy Garvey, which is good enough for us. Table comb together different strands of modern folk music to create something new and wonderful, while Hannah Peel takes the delicate sounds of music boxes and a raft of other instruments to concoct gently enchanting suites. 

 

On to the DJs and New York’s Francois K, known as the forefather of house music, headlines Friday night with a three-hour Deep Space set on the main stage. Juan Maclean brings the sound of DFA, while Andrew Weatherall returns to Electric Elephant to perform twice: a special sunset Balearic set at the beach bar and a late night jackin’ set to bring the festival to a close on Sunday. BBC 6Music DJ, filmmaker and cultural icon Don Letts will bring Roots N Reggae to the Adriatic 

 

Richard Norris & Leo Elstob join forces to present The Time and Space Machine Vs Wig Wam, a unique, four-hour set of warped pyschedelia and spaced out disco on the beach terrace. Internationally renowned Balearic disco king Todd Terje will be keeping beach terrace revellers dancing into the night and pioneering Italian DJ Beppe Loda will be showcasing his ‘Afro Cosmic’ sound. 

 

The futuristic house sounds of Berlin come in threes: in addition to Soundstream DJ sets come sets from Prosumer, the resident at white-hot club Panorama Bar, and exciting new producer Hunee. Sticking firmly in the future, Ramadanman – head honcho of celebrated dubstep label Hessle Audio – will be bringing the main stage Funktion 1 soundsystem to life. 

 

At the beating heart of the Electric Elephant is Electric Chair and its residents The Unabombers, who once again headline the main stage on Saturday night. Friend of the club Ashley Beedle will bring basement soul magic from soundsystem reggae to sonic Detroit techno, alongside two other Electric Chair regulars Kelvin Andrews (taking time off from writing with some guy called Robbie Williams) and Chris Duckenfield. 

 

Completing the current DJ line-up are UK club collectives including London’s Lowlife, Bad Passion & The Local. Manchester’s Naïve Melody and Aficionado and DJ’s Crowhead (Attic Records), Ruf Dug, Doodlebug, Rashid Khan (Content) and Francis Wooff (That Amazing Thing). Petrcane itself is a village of good, kind people and evening markets and rustic restaurants serving fresh fish caught that day and olive oil fresh from the local groves. 

 

There are plenty of places to rest your head. Old cottages and villas on the sea front are available for hire and theres even Camping in the woods. 

 

Sailing boats can chartered and explore the mystical islands. Stunning national parks, waterfalls and mountains are all a short distance away. The old coastal city of Zadar with its is only a bus or taxi ride away
